A quick intro

Hi there, my name is Karthick Gopal. If you noticed the extra c in contrary to the usual spelling, that’s because numerology played a role in deciding the spelling. It has helped me become the most famous Karthick Gopal on Google search, not yet the most famous Karthick however.

This is a weblog that has seen many avatars and many URLS until finally deciding to just stick with my name as a whole.

What do I talk about here?

I have a lot of interests and have dibbled in too many fields and would like to write about all of them, but alas, one neither has the time and more important the talent to stand equally authoritative on various subjects. So I narrowed it down to Strategy. I love thinking strategically and this has been my focus for a long time. I like reading what makes people successful, how do they do what they do so well and more important, how can we learn from them.

Other interests that are stickied from time to time Gaming, creativity, design and some amount of web designing/photoshop. I am not an expert in the last forementioned things, but I am better than most noobs. I have been a gamer all my life, I don’t plan to stop any time soon.

Quick Facts

– I read a lot. Seriously, a lot and I prefer the hard cover books over the ebooks any day except when money is a question, even then I end up reading the ebook wishing it were the hardcover. Currently I have dropped the novels to read all about Businessmen and what they do, what drives them, how much do they earn and how they go about earning.

– The picture on the right is me doing one my many Elvis impersonations.

– I tried to make money online through blogging (so far I have a grand total of  $ -20).

– I go by the moniker Kage whenever I have the need to feel cool, but it is so much easier than my given name of Karthick Gopal for my friends that I have ended up believing that to be my name at times.

– I love doing editing work and have worked as an editor for many websites.

– I have a brother who blogs as well and is the left brain of the household, while I’d like to consider myself the right brain. Although I can see him work independently in both cases.

– I love getting in touch with people, send me an email whenever you feel like you have that need to kage [at] igamemag [dot] com and I’ll be sure to reply.
